Governor Hochul Announces that Amtrak will Restore full Hudson Valley Service in early March
February 2, 2026 As a result of this full Amtrak service restoration, the previously announced once daily Metro-North round trip between New York's Grand Central Terminal and Albany will NOT be occurring.
The Rhinecliff Station Platform and Interlocking Project
February 2, 2026 The slide presentation from NYSDOT on the status of the Rhinecliff station rehabilitation and new high-level platform has been publicly posted. The station building closed on December 9, 2022, for a two-year renovation including plumbing repairs, elevator replacement, and bathroom improvements.
